Sr Dainna Baharuddin, CQS, PPRISM, FRISM, FRICS, is an active industry player with the passion to promote the surveying profession through elegant leadership.
Trained as a Quantity Surveyor, Sr Dainna has vast background in providing consultancy services in over 30 construction projects in Malaysia as well as in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland and Bangladesh. Her expertise earned her appointments as specialist expert witness at the Construction High Court (Malaysia).
Sr Dainna was the 59th President of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM).
Currently a Board Member of the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (BQSM), Sr Dainna is also serving in, amongst others, the RISM Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, Malaysian Productivity Corporation Nexus, ICMS Standard Setting Committee, FIG Commission 10.3 and also several university Industry Advisory Panel as well as External Examiners.
As an accomplished speaker, Sr Dainna has been invited to speak to audiences by universities and organizations such as CIOB, IEM, FIABCI Thailand, Bangladesh Institute of QS, just to name a few.
Sr Dainna is the Director and Owner of Basar & Harun Sdn, an established Consultant Quantity Surveying Practice
She earned her BSc Quantity Surveying from Newcastle Upon Tyne Polytechnic United Kingdom. Sr Dainna is a fellow of the Chartered Quantity Surveyor with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors UK (RICS), Fellow of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) and a Registered Quantity Surveyor with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia) BQSM.
Sr Dainna’s purpose is to channel positive energies to the up and rising leaders of the quantity surveying profession.
